Christoval waltzed into their match on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Sonora Broncos 59-22. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Sonora saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kyndall Weston posted five points and five rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Weston a new career-high in blocks (two).

Christoval is on a roll lately: they've won 21 of their last 23 games, which provided a nice bump to their 26-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.1 points per game. As for Sonora, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-8.
