2A-2 Region III District 12 recap November 5, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in 2A-2 Region III District 12 this week, Corrigan-Camden beat Hemphill 57-14. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Bulldogs.
Groveton moved up to 709 from 758 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Indians climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Anderson-Shiro 37-16.
Anderson-Shiro's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Fighting Owls feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. John McDonald has thrown for 632 yards and 7 touchdowns this season, while Derreck Sicola has 10 catches for 365 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Corrigan-Camden takes on the Fighting Owls. As it stands, Seven Armstrong's team is in first, while Anderson-Shiro is in fourth.
