On Saturday, Dixie slipped by the Knights 52-51. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Dixie.
Despite the loss, Legacy Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Jacob Thompson dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds. Thompson hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for 13 straight games. Michael Little was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Dixie now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Legacy Christian Academy, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4.
Dixie will head out on the road to take on the Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Greyhounds in Ohio (the Wildcats are ranked 258th, while the Greyhounds are ranked 560th). As for Legacy Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
