The Adamson Leopards had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Molina on Wednesday and snuck past 50-48. The win was just what Adamson needed coming off of a 108-27 loss in their prior matchup.
Adamson got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Eric Guerrero out in front who scored 17 points. The matchup was Guerrero's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Hiram Pinion, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds.
Adamson's win bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Molina, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-13.
Adamson will challenge Kimball at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Kimball presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Adamson in Texas (Kimball is ranked 303rd, while Adamson is ranked 1330th). As for Molina, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wilson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Wilson's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games.
