The Lakewood Rangers entered their tilt with the Holy Name Green Wave with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Lakewood blew past Holy Name 66-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Lakewood has posted yet this season.
Delaney Garcia was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Lucy Henrikson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five steals.
Despite the loss, Holy Name saw an underclassman step up: Claire Coljohn scored 19 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Coljohn hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Emmalee Majoros, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Lakewood's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Holy Name, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.
