Jaxon Garcia Delivers Electric Performance Vs Santa Gertrudis Academy
Jaxon Garcia helped snap Falfurrias's five-game losing streak. Garcia was dynamite on Friday, rushing for 64 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, while also throwing for 150 yards and a touchdown. Those 64 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
On the season, Garcia has thrown 11 touchdowns while averaging 121.7 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 12 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 32.57 rushing yards.

Ruben Atkinson put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown.
Atkinson might have his next game, a road matchup with Raymondville, circled on his calendar. Atkinson threw for 353 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75.9% of his passes the last time he and the Bearkats duked it out back in August of 2023.
