Aj Curotto and Kyle Wenger provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Quakertown. The connection was good for 70 yards, the longest such play in Suburban One - Continental this season.
Pennridge extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating North Penn, 28-21. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Central Bucks South's dynamic duo of Jon Pileggi and Steve Veal proved tough for Central Bucks East to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Pileggi threw for 309 yards and four touchdowns and Veal had 114 yards receiving. Cale Mosher helped Central Bucks South's passing attack out by catching four balls for 92 yards.
Sherrod Higginbotham was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 26 carries, he ran for 271 yards as Central Bucks West defeated the Patriots. Teammate Cody Riemenschneider added to the ground attack by rushing for 122 yards.
Central Bucks South's Pileggi and Mosher have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Suburban One - Continental in both passing and receiving yards. Pileggi has thrown for 1467 yards this season, while Mosher has 32 catches for 517 yards. Mike Class from Pennridge leads the league in rushing with 1557 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Central Bucks East takes on Randy Cuthbert's team. John Donnelly's team is in sixth place, while the Rams are in first place.
Souderton took down the Panthers 33-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Curotto threw for 155 yards and two touchdowns and ran for seven yards in the win.
