Baseball Recap: Lowellville Gets the Win

Lowellville won the last time they faced Memorial and things went their way on Friday too. The Rockets came out on top against the Red Devils by a score of 6-3.

Kasen Smith was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Tuscano, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Lowellville's record is now 6-7. As for Memorial, they dropped their record down to 0-11 with the loss, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lowellville is set to face off against their familiar foe Springfield at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Memorial will take on rival Mineral Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
