Ezekeil Zamora's Big Game Leads La Puente over Workman
Ezekeil Zamora was instrumental in extending La Puente's winning streak to six on Friday. Zamora was unstoppable, throwing for 208 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground.
Workman's probably not too fond of Zamora given he always seems to get the better of them. Zamora threw for 198 yards and two touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground the last time he and the Lobos duked it out back in October of 2023.

Silva Made His Presence Known in La Puente's 53-6 Win
Aaron Silva's big game helped extend La Puente's winning streak to six on Friday. Workman had no answer to Silva as he rushed for 64 yards and two touchdowns. Silva is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Workman had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Silva it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Silva saw the Lobos), he picked up 32 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 62 yards.

Ivan Lopez and Co. Win Sixth in a Row
La Puente picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Ivan Lopez. Lopez did his part (and then some), picking up 101 receiving yards and a touchdown for the 'W'. His receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 101 receiving yards dating back to last season.
On the season, Lopez has caught 7 touchdowns while averaging 115.8 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after five games last season, he was only averaging 46.6 receiving yards per game.
