Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Springfield to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rayne Erickson, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrianna Hudson, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Clarksville beat Rossview 46-38 on Monday. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Clarksville has scored all season.
The win got Springfield back to even at 8-8. As for Clarksville, their victory bumped their record up to 17-0.
