The Osborne Bulldogs lost against the Hodgeman County Longhorns back in March of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Osborne fell 54-41 to Hodgeman County.
Hodgeman County can attribute much of their success to Morgan Ruff, who scored 18 points along with 4 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Ruff has scored at least 25% of Hodgeman County's points. Another player making a difference was Taylor Bamberger, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds.
Osborne's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Hodgeman County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Osborne will take on Victoria at TBD on Tuesday. Hodgeman County won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Hoxie at 6:00 p.m. on December 9th. Hoxie has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 203 points over their last three games.
