Nashoba Regional won the last time they faced Marlborough and things went their way on Monday too. The Wolves came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers, sneaking past 5-4. The win was nothing new for the Wolves as they're now sitting on four straight.
Ben Lamson was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Libby, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Nashoba Regional pushed their record up to 9-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Marlborough, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
