The Oswego Indians lost against the Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Oswego's tough 54-28 loss to Cedar Vale/Dexter might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Oswego has scored all season.
Oswego's loss came despite strong showings from Josh Hutchinson and Owen Jackson. Hutchinson scored 12 points, while Jackson scored nine points along with three steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Oswego and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Cedar Vale/Dexter, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oswego will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Marmaton Valley at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Cedar Vale/Dexter will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on South Haven at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
