Volleyball Recap: Thursday's Defeat Ends Diamond's Winning Streak

Diamond suffered their biggest loss since October 31, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Skyline Tigers. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-16.

Aubrey Ball paced Diamond's offense, picking up ten kills. Ball got some help from Kenzie Crook and her 18 assists. Ball was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Diamond's loss dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Skyline, they pushed their record up to 11-8-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Diamond will host Miller at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Skyline, they will head out to face off against El Dorado Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
