The Bonneville Lakers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Viewmont Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Bonneville is ranked 64th, while Viewmont is ranked 88th).
On Wednesday, Bonneville was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 48-43 to Box Elder. Bonneville has not had much luck with Box Elder recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, even though Northridge scored an imposing 60 points on Wednesday, Viewmont still came out on top. Viewmont took their match against Northridge 71-60. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Viewmont.
Bonneville bumped their record down to 6-8 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Viewmont, their win bumped their record up to 3-11.
Bonneville came up short against Viewmont in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 57-44. Can Bonneville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
