Sheridan is a perfect 10-0 against White Hall since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Yellowjackets will welcome the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Sheridan 2.7, White Hall 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Sheridan barely beat Bauxite the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Yellowjackets never let the Miners get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Yellowjackets, who have now won 15 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Chloe Clark was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Skylar Sterritt, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and one stolen base. Sadie Sterritt was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, White Hall has relied on a stalwart pitcher averaging 3.42 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They lost 13-0 to Monticello.
Sheridan is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 17-5 record this season. As for White Hall, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-10-1.
Friday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Sheridan hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .397. However, it's not like White Hall struggles in that department as they've averaged .324. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Sheridan skirted past White Hall 3-2 in their previous matchup back in April. Do the Yellowjackets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
