The Harlem Huskies will head out on the road to challenge the Guilford Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Harlem is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Last Thursday, Harlem suffered a rough 49-28 loss at the hands of Boylan Catholic. Harlem has not had much luck with Boylan Catholic recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Meanwhile, Guilford entered their tilt with Rockford Auburn with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Guilford narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Rockford Auburn 41-39.
Harlem has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-16 record this season. As for Guilford, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-12 record this season.
Harlem and Guilford were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in January, but Harlem came up empty-handed after a 39-38 loss. Can Harlem avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
