Munford had won four straight home games and JaDyn Lee did his part to make it five on Monday. The Munford Cougars had just enough and edged out the Dyersburg Trojans 65-63 with plenty of help from Lee, who shot 57% from the field en route to 31 points in addition to eight assists and seven rebounds. He has become a key player for Munford: the team is 20-7 when he posts at least 15 points, but 1-3 otherwise.

Another player making a difference was Courtnry Chaffin, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times he's played.

Munford is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 21-10 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for Dyersburg and nudges their season record down to 15-13.

Munford will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Greeneville at 11:00 a.m. on March 20th. Greeneville will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Munford surely won't give up without a fight. Dyersburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
