Murphy's rock-solid defense showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. They breezed past the Robertsdale Golden Bears to the tune of 39-0. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by 25 points or more this season.

Murphy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.6 points over those games. As for Robertsdale, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Coming up, Murphy will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Theodore at 6:00 p.m. The Panthers will be up against the Bobcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Robertsdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
