Leading Emmanuel Christian to victory were Rileigh McDonald and Jaiden Coleman . McDonald dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds, while Coleman dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Coleman has scored at least 25% of Emmanuel Christian's points.
Emmanuel Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Houston County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.
Emmanuel Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Pike Liberal Arts at 3:30 p.m. on January 6th. Pike Liberal Arts comes in on a streak of failing to score more than eight points in their last seven games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
