Tamaqua extended the longest winning streak in Anthracite this week by beating Marian Catholic, 24-10. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Blue Raiders.
North Schuylkill led the league in scoring this week by notching 40 points on Eastern Lebanon County.
Ryan Fink was a force in the backfield as Schuylkill Haven bested Blue Mountain.
Fink was a passing and rushing force as the Hurricanes topped the Eagles. He completed 3 passes for 52 yards and 1 touchdown and also ran for 257 yards. Fink's favorite target this week was Mike Feryo, who caught 3 passes for 52 yards.
Nate Edmonds put up the best numbers through the air as Tamaqua defeated Marian Catholic. He finished with 6 completions for 63 yards and 1 touchdown. Edmonds' favorite target this week was Adam Frantz, who caught 2 passes for 36 yards.
Shenandoah Valley's Ian McCole and Kayin Herb have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards.
