Softball Recap: Crestview Triumphs

Crestview saw some tournament action on Friday. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Pleasant Valley Raiders.

Crestview let Ava Secor and Presley Houser run wild. Secor went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double, while Houser went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run. Secor has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Taeia Schriner was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Crestview now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Pleasant Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Crestview didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against North Jackson on the 27th. As for Pleasant Valley, they will face off against Jacksonville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
