Vista Murrieta waltzed into their game on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Chaparral Pumas 79-48. The Broncos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Chaparral had strong showings from Kaleb Austin, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 13 points, and Andrew De La Torre, who posted 11 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance also gave De La Torre a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (40%). Another player making a difference was Brandon Martin, who earned six points and five boards.

Vista Murrieta's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.3 points over those games. As for Chaparral, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-15 record this season.
