Even though the Pine Bluffs Hornets scored an imposing 55 points on Saturday, the Big Horn Rams still came out on top. Big Horn rang in the new year with a 67-55 win over Pine Bluffs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Big Horn.
It was another big night for Caleb Gibson, who scored 27 points along with five steals. The game was his tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Adsit, who scored eight points along with 17 rebounds and three steals.
Big Horn is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Pine Bluffs, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
Big Horn and Lingle-Fort Laramie will face off at 2:30 p.m. on January 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Lingle-Fort Laramie will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. Pine Bluffs will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Wright at 4:00 p.m. on January 6th.
