After a string of 12 wins, Lower Merion's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 58-50 to the Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials. The contest was a 19-19 toss-up at halftime, but the Aces couldn't quite close it out.

Michael Pererira was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 28 points and 12 rebounds for Plymouth Whitemarsh. Pererira's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mani Sajid, who posted 13 points.

Lower Merion's defeat dropped their record down to 21-5. As for Plymouth Whitemarsh, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-7.

Lower Merion wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 72-61 loss against Coatesville on the 28th. As for Plymouth Whitemarsh, they have also already played their next game, a 54-50 defeat against Conestoga on the 28th.
