The Battle Creek Academy Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Pansophia Academy 75-27 on the road. With that win, Battle Creek Academy brought their scoring average up to 51.3 points per game.
It was another big night for Nathan Thomson, who scored 45 points along with eight rebounds and eight steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Battle Creek Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Morey, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Battle Creek Academy and bumps their season record up to 4-2. As for Pansophia Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Battle Creek Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Calhoun Christian at 4:00 p.m. on December 27th. After both having extra time off, Pansophia Academy and Marshall Academy will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
