The Bayshore Bruins lost against the Southeast Seminoles back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Bayshore took a 70-54 bruising from the Seminoles. Bayshore has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Bayshore's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was William Strawbridge, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. Strawbridge has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last eight times he's played. Another player making a difference was Keshawn Parhm, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Bayshore dropped their record down to 10-14 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Southeast, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-14.
Bayshore does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Southeast's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Blue Streaks at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. Hopefully Sebring focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Saturday.
