The  victory made it two in a row for Deer Trail and  bumps their season record up to 3-4. The  wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 18  points in those games. As for Manzanola, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record  this season.
