Logan Dent Goes Supernova in Salem Victory
Starting off the list is Salem's Logan Dent, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Dent rushed for 164 yards and three touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 131 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for West Washington, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Dent. Dent rushed for 145 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.5 yards per carry the last time he and the Senators duked it out back in October of 2023.

Samuel Conn Delivers Best Performance of Season
Silver Creek was led to victory by Samuel Conn, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Conn rushed for 160 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Conn must have Corydon Central's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Conn saw the Panthers), he rushed for 72 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries.

Lawyer Posts Huge Game in 35-34 Defeat
Corydon Central had to settle for second on Friday, but Carson Lawyer sure wasn't going down easily. Lawyer turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 179 yards while picking up 8.5 yards per carry, and also picking up 58 receiving yards. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 61 yards.
If the past is any indication, Lawyer could be in store for another big game when he takes on North Harrison on Friday. Lawyer rushed for 257 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 30 receiving yards the last time he and the Cougars duked it out back in September.

Scottsburg had to settle for second on Friday, but Garrett Boling sure wasn't going down easily. Despite the defeat, Boling was still balling out as he picked up 49 receiving yards and a touchdown.
The loss snapped Scottsburg's winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 6-3 record. They and Owen Valley are set to duel on Friday.

Christian Grayson Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Christian Grayson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Charlestown to the win on Friday. Grayson threw for 106 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 33 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The victory snapped Charlestown's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-7 record. Grayson will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Martinsville on Friday.
