After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Greenwood Mennonite, the Concord Christian Academy Minutemen were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They secured a 32-26 W over Fairwinds Christian. For Concord Christian Academy, this counts as revenge for the 31-16 defeat Fairwinds Christian walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
Concord Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Aubrey Collison, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Collison has scored all season.
Concord Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Fairwinds Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Concord Christian Academy the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Calvary Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 25th. Hopefully Calvary Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Thursday. As for Fairwinds Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Seaside Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Seaside Christian Academy is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
