The Biloxi Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season. They blew past St. Scholastica 57-22 at home. Winning may never get old, but Biloxi sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Zaniya Johnson was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 43 points and 13 rebounds. The game was her fifth in a row with at least ten points. Aaliyah Davison was another key contributor, scoring four points along with eight assists.
Biloxi's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-1. As for St. Scholastica, their loss ended a eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 13-3.
Biloxi won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Greene County at 5:30 p.m. on December 29th. As for St. Scholastica, they will head out on the road to face off against Denham Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
