Big Game from Juhnke As Joliet Won 28-8
Starting off the list is Joliet's Kaden Juhnke, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Juhnke threw for 122 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 36 yards and a touchdown. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2023.
Shepherd's probably not too fond of Juhnke given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Juhnke saw the Mustangs), he threw for 249 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72% of his passes, and also rushed for 40 yards.

Kooper Beard Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Huntley Project got the W thanks in part to Kooper Beard playing the best football he has all season. Beard rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, and also picked up 57 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
On the year, Beard has caught those 1 touchdown while averaging 25 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 9.83 receiving yards per game.

Grady Schmidt Goes Supernova in Huntley Project Win
Grady Schmidt put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 151 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.9 yards per carry.
Schmidt and Huntley Project are taking a road trip to take on Shepherd at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will pit Schmidt up against the Mustangs' star rusher Connor Wilson. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Shepherd was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Wyatt Beddes did his best to prevent it. Joliet had no answer to Beddes as he rushed for 60 yards.
Shepherd's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-4. Beddes and Shepherd will welcome Huntley Project at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Blake Ramaeker Leads Huntley Project over Colstrip
Blake Ramaeker produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Huntley Project to the win on Friday. Ramaeker threw for 141 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Ramaeker and Huntley Project will face off against Shepherd at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ramaeker will face off against Caleb Nicholson, the Mustangs' star quarterback. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
