Castleford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Hansen Huskies an easy 68-45 victory. One positive for the Wolves, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Castleford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Hansen, they moved to 2-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

After both having extra time off, Castleford and Richfield will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Hansen, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Watersprings at 3:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
