Celina Blount continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lakota East, scoring 16 points along with four blocks and three steals. Blount is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Brooke Asher, who scored 15 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Fairfield and nudges their season record down to 8-9. As for Lakota East, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.
