Volleyball Recap: Christian Learning Center Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Christian Learning Center, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Heartland on Tuesday. Christian Learning Center hasn't had any issues with Heartland recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Christian Learning Center easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-13.

Holly Cain paced Christian Learning Center's offense, picking up four kills. Cain got some help from Stepheni Castleberry and her 11 assists. Castleberry also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Adelyn Paronto, racking up five apiece.

Christian Learning Center's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Heartland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.

Christian Learning Center has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Center Place on the 12th. As for Heartland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Fort Scott Christian Heights on the 9th.
