Volleyball Recap: Marquez Wins Going Away Against Franklin

Marquez won the last time they faced Franklin and things went their way on Thursday too. Everything went the Marquez Gladiators' way against the Franklin Panthers as the Marquez Gladiators made off with a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gladiators.

The victory didn't come easy: Franklin scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-19, 25-21.

Marquez's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Franklin, they dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Marquez will welcome Maywood Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Marquez is facing Maywood Academy at the right time seeing as Maywood Academy is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Franklin, they will head out to face off against Eagle Rock at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The last three games Eagle Rock has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
