The Alhambra Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Clayton Valley Charter took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Alhambra, who comes in off a win.
Even though Alhambra has not done well against Miramonte recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Alhambra walked away with a 2-0 victory over Miramonte. The victory was just what Alhambra needed coming off of a 4-0 loss in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Clayton Valley Charter's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to Las Lomas. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Clayton Valley Charter couldn't push the score so high this time.

Alhambra's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8-2. As for Clayton Valley Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 13-2-3.
Alhambra suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Clayton Valley Charter when the teams last played back in January of 2020. Can Alhambra avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
