The Zephyrhills Bulldogs pushed their score all the way to 71 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Wesley Chapel by a score of 73-71. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Tuesday (63), Zephyrhills still had to take the loss.
It was another big night for Trey Murray, who scored 32 points for Wesley Chapel. That makes it three consecutive games in which Murray has scored at least 25% of Wesley Chapel's points. Another player making a difference was Sian Morris, who scored 17 points along with 5 assists.
Zephyrhills' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Wesley Chapel, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.
