Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, South View beat Cape Fear 20-16 on Friday.

South View's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 20 points in the first half. Cape Fear wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 13 to make it 20-13 heading into the break. South View were outperformed in the second half 0-3 but had enough points saved up to walk away with the win. They added further sheen to their flawless record, now 7-0. The loss dropped Cape Fear's record to 5-3.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week South View take on Terry Sanford at 7:30 PM. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a win streak alive as South View skips in on seven wins and Terry Sanford on three. As for Cape Fear, they will face off against Pine Forest. Pine Forest are cruising in on a four-game winning streak.
