After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Purnell Swett, South View was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Douglas Byrd Eagles with a sharp 10-1 victory. Amiyah Whitaker was a massive factor in the win as she booted in five goals all by herself.

South View now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Douglas Byrd, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South View will head out to face off against Lumberton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Douglas Byrd, they will venture away from home to challenge Gray's Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Douglas Byrd has given up an average of 5 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
