It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Seaside Seagulls had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with a 14-6 win over Marshfield. The victory was familiar territory for Seaside who now have five in a row.
Zayden Anderson threw for 74 yards on six of 11 attempts. Kyler Mccleary was his top target, picking up 71 receiving yards. On the ground, Jake White rushed for 79 yards and a touchdown.
Seaside's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.8 points per game. As for Marshfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
Seaside will head out on the road to face off against Marist at 4:30 p.m. on November 18th. Marist will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak. Marshfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
