Meanwhile, H-L-V fell victim to North Mahaska and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Warhawks by a score of 1-0. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Warhawks recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

H-L-V's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Lynnville-Sully, their victory bumped their record up to 15-2.

Lynnville-Sully took their win against H-L-V when the teams last played on June 2nd by a conclusive 16-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
