The Chilton County Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven  matchups by 21  points or more this season. They claimed a resounding  55-25 win over Calera at home. The  victory was nothing new for Chilton County as they're now sitting on four straight.
  Tyeshia Williams continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines,  dropping  a double-double on 16 points and 19  rebounds. Williams is absolutely dominating the  rebound category: she's  posted at least eight every time she's  taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was  Ivyonna Varner, who  scored six points along with 14  steals.
 Chilton County's win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Calera, they are  on a five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-16.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chilton County will take on Maplesville at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Maplesville will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 338th, while Chilton County is ranked 124th). As for Calera, they will be playing at home against Benjamin Russell at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
