Sterlington waltzed into their matchup on Friday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bastrop Rams 58-29. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Bastrop's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Alana Myles, who posted 15 points, and Kayleah Wilson, who earned ten points. That was a full 51.7% of Bastrop's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.

Sterlington pushed their record up to 20-8 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points over those games. As for Bastrop, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 16-8 record this season.

Sterlington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 48-31 victory against Richwood on the 11th. As for Bastrop, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 44-40 win against Carroll on the 11th.
