The Farragut Admirals lost against the Chicago Marshall Commandos back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Farragut was dealt a 54-17 loss at the hands of Chicago Marshall. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Farragut has scored all season.
Leading Chicago Marshall to victory were Janiyah Green and Ja'Una Williams. Green scored 19 points along with eight rebounds, while Williams scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. The matchup was Green's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chamarre Scott, who scored four points along with four blocks.
Farragut's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Chicago Marshall, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.
Farragut will be playing in front of their home fans against Instituto Health Sciences at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Instituto Health Sciences comes in on a streak of failing to score more than zero points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Chicago Marshall, they will head out on the road to face off against Foreman at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Foreman is on a three-game streak of home wins, Chicago Marshall a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
