Even though the Highland Tech Rams have not done well against the East Gaston Warriors recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Highland Tech came out on top against East Gaston by a score of 42-34. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Highland Tech.
Highland Tech's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Addie McCraw, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 16 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Reese Thomas, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds.
Highland Tech's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for East Gaston, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
Highland Tech will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Burns at 6:00 p.m. Burns has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for East Gaston, they will head out on the road to face off against Thomas Jefferson at 9:00 p.m. on Friday.
