North Knox suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Saturday. They had to suffer through a rough 80-41 loss at the hands of Pike Central. While losing is never fun, North Knox can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 337th, while Pike Central is ranked 144th).
Washington Catholic's defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-13. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.1 points per game. As for North Knox, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
Washington Catholic was taken down by North Knox 78-31 in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Can Washington Catholic avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
