Tellico Plains's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Wartburg Central on Friday. The Bears put the hurt on the Copper Basin Cougars with a sharp 20-0 win. Considering the Bears have won eight contests by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Tellico Plains let Ike Hollinghead and John Broad run wild. Hollinghead went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Broad went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs. Those two RBI gave Hollinghead a new career-high. Colt Cooper was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Tellico Plains was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Copper Basin only posted a batting average of .000.
