Latin got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They walked away with a 56-48 victory over the North Shore Country Day Raiders on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Romans who have now won three matches in a row.

Latin's victory bumped their record up to 6-13. As for North Shore Country Day, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season.

Looking ahead, Latin will be playing at home against Chicago University at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Latin's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. As for North Shore Country Day, they will head out to take on Francis W. Parker at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
