The Overton Eagles will take on the Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons at TBD on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Overton pushed their score all the way to 60 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 70-60 to Elm Creek. Overton has struggled against the Buffaloes recently, as their match on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Eli Luther, who scored 25 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brock McCarter, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Meanwhile, Wilcox-Hildreth had to suffer through a rough 69-31 loss at the hands of the. Wilcox-Hildreth was down 49-20 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Overton has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season. As for Wilcox-Hildreth, their loss dropped their record down to 2-18.
